The Rape Crisis Center is proud to offer prevention education programs under the Department of Education and Outreach in the areas of child assault, sexual assault and dating violence to the Clark County community. Sexual assault is not about sex, but about a specific type of violence that operates on control and domination. In this sense, it is the focus of The Rape Crisis Center to be instrumental in changing the behaviors and attitudes that allow sexual violence to continue in our society. We stress empowerment on all its levels, especially the ability to take action before anything happens and/or seek assistance should anything occur. The following are our main guiding frameworks:
