Press releases

  • The Rape Crisis Center must have a five-week notice prior to event to send out press release. An eight-week notice is needed to meet magazine deadlines.
  • All press releases must be pre-approved by The Rape Crisis Center prior to distribution.
  • $1,500 minimum donation required to send out a press release on behalf of The Rape Crisis Center.
Use of logo 
  • $1,000 minimum donation required for use of logo.
  • Must use official logo provided by The Rape Crisis Center.
  • The Rape Crisis Center logo cannot be altered in an way, size, or color.
  • All event advertisements that include The Rape Crisis Center must be preapproved in advance.
Event guidelines 
  • Must have minimum of three months notice to utilize promotional resources of The Rape Crisis Center for events and fundraisers.
  • Use of volunteers and staff of The Rape Crisis Center is at the discretion of the Executive Director.
Website guidelines 
  • Must use official The Rape Crisis Center logo and positioning statement.
  • Must not be included in links for alcohol, tobacco, guns etc.
